Fundamental groups of compact Kaehler manifolds: the fibered/nonfibered dichotomy

After a general survey on how the Kaehler structure constrains the algebraic topology,
particularly the fundamental group, of a closed manifold, two particular aspects
will be discussed in detail: the unipotent representations of Kaehler groups and the dichotomy between fibered and nonfibered groups.
