Hypersurfaces with prescribed r-th mean curvature in warped product manifolds

We present some existence results about closed hypersurfaces in warped product manifolds with prescribed higher order mean curvature. If time permits, we also briefly announce existence results for Dirichlet problems for mean curvature in manifolds endowed with a conformal vector field.
