Sardor Yakupov

I am PhD student at Institut Fourier.

My work lies on the interface of low-dimensional topology and differential geometry, with a little bit of analysis and algebraic geometry.

Here is my CV, my HAL page and my ORCID.

Research

My PhD thesis supervisor is Louis Funar. The main project of our thesis is to study achiral Lefschetz fibrations and their generalizations (such as singular fibrations) via geometry and topology of the moduli space of complex curves and its compactifications. The central point is to extract some invarians of smooth oriented four-manifolds by means of this approach.

Topics that interest me include 4-dimensional topology and geometric topology in general. Such topics as geometric analysis, algebraic topology and homotopy theory, complex and algebraic geometry, symplectic geometry, representation theory and quantum topology do interest me, but mostly in interaction with the study of smooth manifolds.
