6.40.23 Number of elements greater than a given value: count_sup
The count_sup command counts the number of elements of a list
strictly greater than a given value.

count_sup takes two arguments:

x, a real number.
- L, a list or matrix of real numbers.
- count_sup(x,L) returns the number of elements of
L which are strictly greater than x.
