Riemann uniformization Theorem via existence of canonical metrics
Jeudi, 20 Janvier, 2022 - 17:30 à 18:30
Résumé :

In complex geometry there are several strategies to classify
complex manifolds. One of these strategies consists of studying the
existence of a canonical metrics. A famous example of this phenomenon is
the Riemann uniformization Theorem, which gives a classification of the
Riemann surface. After defining the notion of complex structure and
canonical metric on a manifold, we will explain how we can use the
existence of such a metric to show the Riemann uniformization Theorem.
